The ESOL Enhanced Programme: E3 Skills for Employment has been developed to support ESOL learners who are ready to take the next step in their progression pathway.
Key features of the programme:
- Successful completion will result in learners achieving the Ascentis Entry 3 Award in Skills for Employment*
- The four mandatory units in the programme include:
- Building Confidence and Self-esteem
- Effective Communication for Work
- Exploring Job Opportunities
- Rights and Responsibilities at Work
- Bespoke resources for each unit include:
- interactive teaching resources
- learner workbooks to support the portfolio of evidence
- detailed glossary
- Supportive tutor content is available within the Tutor Guidance document
- Approved centres have easy access to resources through Parnassus and Moodle

Centres are advised to access the full qualification specification alongside the programme’s tutor guidance document to ensure quality and standards are maintained throughout the delivery.

Learners achieving the programme will be awarded the Entry 3 Award in Skills for Employment. They may progress into employment or further study.
