‘That’s a wrap’ – Thank you for attending the Ascentis Short Online Qualification CPD event!
As we celebrate 10 years of Ascentis Short Online Qualifications we decided to hold an event to talk about how they have developed over the years and what’s to come in the future.
The day started off with Commercial Manager, Kirsty Sherrington giving an overview of the qualifications, a live demonstration of the interactive resources which accompany the qualifications, and a ‘hot off the press’ announcement about new qualifications we are adding to the suite ready for the new academic year.
We were then joined by Beej Kaczmarcyzk, Director of e-Memoir, who gave a very engaging presentation on ‘How you can enhance tutorial & enrichment programmes with Ascentis Short Online Qualifications’. Beej spoke about a number of things including the importance of enrichment, funding and the new Education Inspection Framework 2019.
Next up was Ascentis customer Grant Basson, Founder & CEO of Best Practice People Ltd. Grant spoke about how Best Practice People deliver the Short Online Qualifications to their NEET learners, learner success stories and outcomes for learners once completing the qualifications.
The day was then closed by a workshop from educational charity, Young Citizens, exploring the purpose and values of teaching FE learners about Citizenship. A number of interactive activities were held as part of the workshop which lead to some great discussions between delegates.
All in all a great day, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all delegates and speakers who attended on the day.
