Keith Fletcher Memorial Awards
Keith Fletcher worked for many years in the South West of England as a great supporter and enthusiast of Access to HE. In memory of Keith’s commitment to Access to HE, AVAs across England and Wales developed an annual presentation ceremony in recognition of learners’ Outstanding Commitment to Study and Academic Achievement.
This year’s Keith Fletcher Memorial Awards ceremony took place at Westminster Palace, London on Wednesday 24th April 2019.
We would like to congratulate Kirsteen Turner-Jones who studied her AHED with Ascentis at EDAS in Poole. Kirsteen won first prize within the Outstanding Commitment to Study Award category as she overcame great personal adversity to achieve her AHED and gain her place at university; she is a wonderful ambassador for the Ascentis Access to HE Diploma and for EDAS.
