Ascentis Donates Monitors to Beaumont College
Here at Ascentis, it is imperative that we enable learning through innovative education. To ensure Ascentis is inclusive and gives everyone this opportunity, we have decided to donate our surplus monitors to the wonderful Beaumont College, who provide education and support for disabled children and young people, promoting independence, skills and confidence.
We met with Chris Lowcock, the Interim Principal, who came down to our head office and collected the monitors. Chris said:
“This donation makes a massive difference and will help make a valued contribution to the community.”
We are proud to help the local community, as our goal is to create life changing opportunities for all. As a charity that is growing rapidly, it is very important to us that we help students in need and bridge the digital divide of the digitally fluent and digitally disengaged. It is estimated that 17 million people, around a fifth of the UK population, lack the essential digital skills for work and life as defined by the government and we hope through this donation we can help more students access the technology they need.
