Ascentis’ Introduction to British Values shortlisted for FAB Award
We’re delighted that our Introduction to British Values Short Online Qualification (SOQ) has been shortlisted for Qualification of the Year at the Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB) Awards 2019.
Since the launch of our Entry 3 Award in Introduction to British Values last year almost 6000 learners have been registered on this Short Online Qualification. This qualification was developed in line with the Government’s Prevent Strategy, enabling centres to introduce British Values into their curriculum and satisfy Ofsted requirements.
The FAB Awards recognises the contributions made by awarding organisations and their employees to education and skills in the UK over the past year.
Tom Bewick, FAB Chief Executive, said “the FAB Awards is an opportunity for the industry to come together to celebrate success and share good practice. The standard of entries this year was exceptionally high and we look forward to announcing the winners at the Awards dinner.”
Now in its 5th year, the FAB 2019 Awards Ceremony is being held on 10 October at the Marriott Hotel in Leicester. We hope to follow our past success of being crowned FAB’s Awarding Organisation of the Year.
