Over the last few months, we’ve been busy further adapting our prestigious portfolio of qualifications to ensure they remain fit for purpose and allow you to continue to teach, and your students to learn, during these unprecedented times.

Online and Blended Learning with our Bespoke Learning Solution

Our bespoke blended learning model provides you with the flexibility to teach and learners to complete the Ascentis Short Online Qualifications (SOQs) in a way that meets your centre’s circumstances; either fully online, traditionally in the classroom or through blended learning.

With funding available and 25 titles to choose from, our SOQs are an ideal way for you to utilise any underspent AEB and boost achievement rates remotely and in the classroom. They cover a range of subjects including British Values, Environmental, Health and Safety, Health and Well-being, Infection Control and Prevention, Internet Safety and Personal Development; all of which are mapped to Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework and their priorities.

Our unique online model allows learners to complete the required learning and sit the assessments remotely online, giving them gratification and a sense of achievement at home, inspiring them to continue on their learning journey.

Now more than ever it’s important that learners leave education with all the necessary skills for gaining employment. We have a comprehensive suite of Employability and Progression to Further Learning and Work qualifications with a wide choice of units, allowing you to create a tailored programme of learning to your learner’s individual needs and gaps in their knowledge. 

These qualifications are fully funded and assessed through a portfolio of evidence, meaning your learners can work towards achieving these qualifications and build important employability and life skills remotely.

What's coming up at Ascentis?

We are currently working on some exciting new developments which will add value to your provision and learners’ education:

• New vocabulary glossaries will be available soon for all SOQs to help learners with any technical language within the subjects.

• In addition to the current online resources and workbooks for our Access to HE Health related Diplomas, we are developing online resources and workbooks for other Diploma subject sets including Law, Business and Sociology.

• Coming soon are our new classroom-based English and Maths online assessments. The opportunity for learners to sit our English and Maths Skills assessments online will give them vital preparation and skills to complete their Functional Skills.

• Our new Essential Digital Skills Qualifications are currently going through Ofqual’s technical evaluation and will be available soon.
