Essential Digital Skills Qualifications (EDSQ)
It is estimated by the UK Government that 17 million people, around a fifth of the population, lack the essential digital skills required for work and life.
Ascentis Essential Digital Skills Qualifications (EDSQ), available at Entry 3 and Level 1, are mapped to the National Occupational Standards for Essential Digital Skills and have been developed to bridge the gap between the digital first and the digitally disengaged.
Our Essential Digital Skills qualifications are designed to introduce learners to the digital world, encouraging the use of digital devices throughout the course and giving them the opportunity to engage with online facilities and a range of software. These qualifications cover life and work skills in detail and enable progression to employment or further study.
