Ascentis’ Amazing EQAs
Ascentis are proud to offer a fantastic EQA service, providing our centres with guidance, support and industry expertise. Ascentis EQAs (External Quality Assurers) ensure the regulations set by Ascentis are met and national standards of qualifications maintained. These representatives of Ascentis will go above and beyond to support centres and make sure that they have everything they need.
Our EQAs conduct activities with centres to:
- Ensure the assessment practice and procedures meet the requirements of both the centre and Ascentis
- Check that internal quality assurance (IQA) judgements meet the requirements and the IQA procedure is in place
- Assess the consistency and quality of sampling assignments, assessor judgements and reviewing assessment records
- Ensure centres are fully equipped to deliver Ascentis qualifications to a high standard and have the correct staffing and resources in place
- Meet with the staff and learners of the centres to make sure all resources promised by Ascentis are provided
